HKUST is an institutional member of the Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association (CSHEMA), which is an organisation for supporting and educating campus-based EHS professional to empower and improve the EHS profession in campus environments.

CSHEMA, a pre-eminent leadership organisation representing the EHS profession in campus environments, is the only organisation focused entirely on serving EHS professionals in higher education, based in the US.
